Debt Elimination or Settlement: What Are Your Options?

There are two types of bankruptcies that most consumers file. A chapter 7 or a chapter 13.

A chapter 7 is the wipe out that most people associate with filing a personal BK. The laws changed in 2005 and it is now more difficult to qualify.

A chapter 13 is a 3-5 year repayment plan where the courts will determine how much you can pay (based on a calculated discretionary income) YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY OFF ALL OF YOUR DEBT. Only save interest and late fees.

Debt Consolidation is a program where you make one monthly payment to a company and they disburse it to your creditors. They typically lower your interest rate and the program is for an average of 7 years. “” Approximately 75% of the people who enter these type of programs never complete them. The companies who set you up in these programs earn most of their fees from the CREDIT CARD COMPANIES.

Your third option is Debt Settlement. Most companies are charging you a total cost of over 65% with no legal fees included. Click on the link and go to FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) to fully understand why they are charging outrageous fees with no legal representation. There is one program out there, which is directly with an attorney with a total cost of 55% which also includes legal fees and court appearances as required.

Bankruptcy obviously has the worst effect on your credit. It will appear on your credit report for 8 to 10 years. Debt Consolidation is also a black mark on your credit due to the fact you could not fulfill your original contractual agreement. With Debt Settlement your credit score will decrease significantly in the short term (As you will pay the Attorney instead of your creditors). Once your accounts are settled or eliminated your scores will increase. Restoring or cleaning your credit is fairly simple once your accounts are closed. Most companies do not offer this service with the settlement. WHY NOT ?

Some Ideas On Getting Unsecured Debt Consolidation

Here are simple pointers on researching easy debt consolidation loans:

- Go for unsecured loans. Some financial establishments can offer unsecured personal loans to people who want to go for consolidation loans. This is useful for people who already have a poor credit rating or those who cannot put up any collateral or equity. This is because in unsecured personal loans, you don’t have to present anything except perhaps the invoices that you want to be consolidated. This presents a greater risk to the company. There’s an elevated possibility that you won’t be able to pay back the debt. So, unsecured debt consolidations through this method can attract very high rates and repayment terms are shortened.

- Determine which debts are the most significant and need to be paid back first. If you have secured debts, besides a mortgage, pay them first. Debts with high interest or charges (like some credit-cards) should also be high on your list of priorities. Pay off the minimum cash payment each month on all of your debts except the one that you have given highest priority; the one with the highest interest rate. Put all your extra money toward that debt, and continue to do so until it’s paid back. If you get a pay bonus or windfall, consider putting it toward your debt as well. When you get one debt paid, start putting your extra cash toward the next one. Repeat until all of your debts are paid back in full.

- Study credit reports. You have to check the report completely and then try to grasp your consolidation. Get help from others and get the full picture since most areas in a credit score report are critical.

- Debt consolidation is the process of combining small existing debts into a single large one. The idea is to get a lower rate overall, so if you have existent loans which are on a low rate, keep them as is, and only consolidate the expensive ones. Do the computations yourself. Do not just leave it to the broker.

- Worthwhile online debt consolidation firms can reduce interest rates. Because the resulting loan is treated as a brand-new one, you can lower your interest rate and extend your payment term. This ought to give bigger savings every month. You can utilize the cash saved to pay off invoices that are not covered by the new loan, or pay off _more_ on the new loan. This way, you will reduce down the number of your repayments and lower your interest.

- Due to a poor fiscal situation most people don’t have adequate cash to pay back all of their debts immediately. To overcome this, as a last resort, you can utilize providers who through negotiation can reduce down your payments.

- How much does a consolidation loan cost? How much you are going to pay off will depend on the provider you have chosen. There are some who can offer you lower transaction expenses. They can offer you free consultations. Others pay the closing costs on your behalf, provided that this will be covered by your eventual monthly repayments. There are also some who charge upfront all of the related costs.

- Take advantage of 0 per-cent interest rates of credit-cards. Your credit-card firm can also assist with the consolidation process by making sure that you do not incur any interest once you transfer your balance. However, you have to be very mindful. You will only be entitled to use this as long as you can apply for a transfer between six and fifteen months. Otherwise, you will begin being charged interest. You also have to monitor the related fees. You need to calculate if it is worth proceeding with.

I hope these few handy tips will help you in getting worthwhile online debt consolidation.

How To Buy A Hot Dune Buggy.

So you want to buy a dune buggy. You’re new to the sport, don’t know much about it, but it looks hot. So you’ve decided to find a dune buggy for sale and buy it and get into the sport. Before you consider buying a dune buggy there’s a few things you ought to think about.

The first thing is to decide if you’re going to buy, or build. Now for most people that’s not an issue. It takes a lot of time and money and skill to build a buggy, it’s not something that you tackle lightly. And if it’s your first buggy you might be better buying one and getting to know a little more. Don’t build unless you’re confident.

Otherwise you need to find a good dune buggy for sale and buy it. There’s lots of dune buggies for sale, but not all of them will suit your needs. So here’s a few more things for the dune buggy buyer to think about.

First comes a consideration of your needs. What do you need your buggy to do? For example there are many who just use their buggy to cruise the streets, not that there’s anything wrong with that. But if so your needs will be quite different to someone who wants to get into the sand.

So the buggy you buy needs to be street legal. No reason to buy a buggy then find out that it’s illegal to take it onto the road. And you won’t need four wheel drive either, so rule that out. No need to spend money on something you’ll never need.

How many people will you need to carry? Now you’re not going to be taking the whole family shopping in your buggy, but there are still plenty of people who love to take along someone else. Maybe you’d like to take your girlfriend with you on a sand dune weekend. No use in a single seater. And you can buy buggies that take 4 people, though there’s not many.

What size do you want? This relates to what you want to do with your buggy, but there’s some other factors involved too. How much storage space do you have? It wouldn’t be the first time someone bought a buggy then found they couldn’t fit it into the garage.

What size trailer do you have? It has to get on your trailer or else you have to buy another trailer, more expense. Some buggies don’t need a trailer, for example street legal buggies, but many need to be transported on a trailer.

Learn a bit about the different build and motor options you have, and learn some of the terminology. For example do you know what a sandrail buggy is if you see a sandrail dune buggy for sale? Do you know what different types of frames there are? What’s a Baja bug? Like all sports dune buggies have their own lingo, and you need to learn it.

And finally, learn as much as you can about motors and how they work. Whether you want to or not you’ll be doing plenty of dirty hands on work. Even if you’ve decided that buying a buggy is the way to go for you because you couldn’t build one, be prepared for plenty of time spent with hot oily hands. Driving a buggy is a heap of fun, but it comes with it’s own work, and if you’re new you need to understand the basics of mechanics, and be prepared to get your hands dirty and learn fast. That’s fun too, but it’s all part of being a buggy driver.

This may all sound a bit basic to the seasoned buggy drivers out there, but for the person just looking to get into the sport there are some basic questions to answer. Do your homework. And if you’re not prepared to build one you’ll need to find a great dune buggy for sale, and buy it, but only after you’ve sorted out exactly what it is you need.

And start saving for your first dune buggy today. Whilst it’s a relatively cheap form of motor sport it’s not entirely cheap. There are some great places to buy cheap dune buggies online, I have them on my website. But you need to get those dollars in the bank. Get started.

Would you like to find a hot Dune Buggy For Sale? visit Peter’s Website Cheap Dune Buggies and find yourself a Cheap Dune Buggy.

Car Stereo Wiring 101

I have come across a lot of car stereo systems over the past 10 years or so. There are so many “techniques” to installing head units. Everyone has their own opinion of what is right and wrong when wiring up a system, but just because it works doesn’t make it right.

I asked Majestic Modifications what their opinion was on the subject. How do they install so many units and always get it right?

First, if applicable, always use the harnesses. The aftermarket wiring harness will usually take the guesswork out of the installation. These harnesses attach to the vehicle’s factory wiring harness and gives you a color coded installation. You just attach red to red, yellow to yellow, etc. But is that all an installer should know?

Starting with your digital multimeter, find the power sources in the harness. One source will be continuous 12 volts, the other will be the ACC (ignition) 12 volts. These two will go with the yellow and red wires from the aftermarket head unit’s harness. They are labeled accordingly. It is usually a good idea to attach the ground wire to the frame of the dash. A lot of head units come with a connector for this already attached to the ground wire. Secure these in place with some solder and shrink tubing. Slip the shrink tubing over one of the wires to be connected and move it out of the way. Connect the wires and dab a little solder on the wires. Let cool and then slide the heat shrink tubing over the connection. Heat with a heat gun/hair dryer to shrink the tubing to fit.

You can try to look on the internet for the wiring colors, but good luck. They will tell you the “typical” wire colors, but chances are it will be different. You can try two techniques to find the right wires. Clip the rest of the wires from the factory harness. You can test the speakers with a good 9 volt battery to see which speakers are which. Two wires connected to the same speaker will make it pop. Note which speaker makes the pop and attach it to that speakers wiring from the head unit. I like to turn the unit on and make sure the wires are the right polarity. A reverse wired speaker will not have as good a sound as a properly wired one. Continue the technique until all the speakers are connected.

The other way you can trace the speakers down is to turn on the head unit, but be VERY careful to not cross any wires. Start with a pair of wires, and attach them one at a time until you get sound. Note which speaker it is and attach it to that speaker’s wires from the wiring harness, taking not of polarity. Continue until all the wires are in place. Zip tie the wire together and neatly tuck them behind the head unit.

Be sure you have a good ground wire connection. Be sure that RCAs or signal wires are running away from any power wires or sources, and are not run parallel to them.

If you want a neat trick, you can attach the 12 volt acc to the illumination wire, and you will be able to turn the unit on with your parking light switch. Take note, that anytime the unit is on, the dash panel lights will be on too, but you won’t notice them in the daytime. The illumination wire is used to turn the factory radio lights on at night.

Not having the wiring harness for your vehicle is not a do or die situation. If you can get the harnesses, save the hassle and time and use it. If you find yourself in a bind, then follow the steps above and get it installed correctly.

Ford Fusion A Best Buy

The Ford Fusion has presence, unusual among midsize sedans that tend to blend in to the scenery. Some people, including us, like the aggressive, angular look of the Fusion, some don’t. We’d like to note that polarizing designs are often more successful than bland designs that neither offend nor excite anyone. In short, we think this is a good-looking car. The styling features large headlights and a bold grille. Three thick chrome bars across the grille have a razor-like appearance and make the car look more upmarket than its pricing might suggest. The front bumper almost disappears as there are two chrome strips below it that match the ones on the grille.

When the Ford Fusion was first introduced, executives said its three-bar horizontal grille would become the signature styling cue for Ford cars. Since then it has been seen on concept vehicles, as well as the Edge crossover vehicle and the new Taurus and newly restyled Focus. This distinctive grille catches your eye on the road, distinguishing the Fusion from other mid-size sedans. The sides of the car are crisply separated from the hood, roof and rear deck. A fold along the top edges of the front fenders runs all the way back along the edge of the roof to the rear deck. The Fusion features a wide track, which makes it stand out on the freeway when viewed from behind. A high trunk line and large triangular taillight clusters with chrome trim give the rear end a classy look. The overall effect is pleasing. The chrome on the car contrasts nicely with the body work, especially on dark-colored models or red. Gaps between body panels seem a bit larger than those on some of the other cars in the class. All-wheel-drive models have AWD badging on the rear deck. While the 17-inch wheels that drive the AWD SEL models are the same design, they have a tell-tale hash mark to identify all-wheel-drive models.

The Sport Appearance Package features a black chrome grille, color-keyed fog lights, a unique rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tips, and most notably, 18-inch aluminum wheels on lower profile tires. The Fusion fits into the Ford car lineup between the compact Focus and the big Taurus sedan. It has much the same dimensions as its competitors. Although the Fusion shares its basic floorpan with the Mazda6, its wheelbase is two inches longer and it is an inch or so wider. Ford also says Fusion has a stiffer bodyshell than the Mazda6, which is good because a rigid structure is the key to a smooth ride and responsive handling.

In review, the Ford Fusion is one of the best buys on the market.Whether a young person looking for a first car,or a family looking to upgrade, all situations will be be pleased with the Fusion. But you really need to see for yourself and test drive one today.

Does This Used Car Have Frame Damage?

If you are like me then you don’t enjoy the process of buying a used car. I enjoy driving it, but the whole process of bargaining and looking at several cars isn’t enjoyable to me. I hate trying to guess whether what the seller is telling me about the car is true or not. Unfortunately we have to drive cars and we all have to buy used cars throughout our lives.

We have probably all seen those cars on the road where the back tires are not in line with the front tires. You know, it looks like the car should be veering to the left but is going perfectly straight. This happens when the frame is bent due to a serious accident that the car has been in.

In this case it is quite easy to see that the car is not functioning properly and will cost you a bunch of money in the future. But some cars that are lemons are not that easy to spot. How do you know that you are getting a good deal?

The first place that I always look is the title of the car. If the title isn’t clean then the seller will be hesitant to show it to you. If he does show it to you and everything appears clean but you still aren’t sure about that car, then follow these suggestions and see what you can do.

Tell tale signs that will show if that particular car has been in a serious accident is quite easy to see. Fist thing to check is all brake lights and any type of accessories that are connected to the car but are not the color of the car. What are you looking for? Paint! That’s right, many times if the car has been in a fender bender when they repaint that part there will be a little bit of over spray on the light covers or mirrors.

Another trick you can use is to check out the gaps between two pieces of the cars body. Check the gaps where the door closes and meets with the frame work. If the gap is consistent then the car is sitting pretty straight! If one end is much wider then the other, then you more then likely have a repair that isn’t fitting right. Beware!

Don’t forget the obvious by asking the owner. Be smart when you do this and ask more detailed questions if their answer doesn’t satisfy you. For instance if the car has had a harmless fender bender the owner will probably tell you, there is no reason to hide that bit of information. If they try to hide the fact that the car has been in an accident that normally means that the car has been in a serious accident and they don’t want you to know about it.

I was in the market for an SUV last year. I had looked at a few and had started to get tired of the process. As I began looking at another one I noticed that this particular vehicle had a lot of scratches, and it didn’t seem to have been taken good care of. I walked around the car and noticed paint on the taillight. I didn’t tell the seller that I saw it, but I asked if there had been any fender benders that they had to repair. He replied that nothing out of the ordinary accident that we all experience. I didn’t pressure him any further. I didn’t like the car anyway. But if I did, he would have had to have given me a more detailed answer to his occasional accidents.

Buying a used car can be a fun experience. Even though it is not new, it is still a new car to you! But you do need to take some precautions and make sure that you get a good deal on your car. There is nothing worse then owning a car for a few months and then finding out there are serious problems. Do you homework and have fun!

If you are in the previously owned car market then check into http://findhotcars.com where you will find a huge variety of previously owned cars, they also have many difficult to find in a Used Luxury Car at good prices.

Insurance is not required by law in South Africa. Given this fact, most South Africans choose to save a little bit of money and go without the insurance. In the long run, however, this has proven to be a very costly mistake.

We can learn a lot from financial institutions in regard to the importance of insurance.. Banks will very often require car insurance before approving your auto loan. Banks also require homeowners insurance and sometimes life insurance before approving a home loan. Doing so protects the bank from financial losses in the event your property is lost, stolen or damaged or in the event of your death. You are also protected since insurance cover will provide you the means to pay the bank under these circumstances.

Armed with this knowledge, wouldn’t it then make sens to protect your assets, even if the bank doesn’t require you to? The decision to not obtain insurance coverage for your assets is a big one. Take a look at these common types of insurance and see if any of them would be of interest to you.

Car Insurance — Ways To Keep Your Rates Low

Different insurance companies will offer surprisingly different quotes on car insurance so it pays to shop around. This makes comparing quotes an essential step in getting the best price.

Everyone wants to pay the least for their car insurance, which you can do if you know what you are looking for. Did you know that the kind of car that you buy or drive will be indicative of your insurance rates? That is some good stuff to remember later on.

Insurance companies do look at the price of the car and the cost of repairing it in the event that becomes a reality, the overall safety record of the car and if the car carries a high theft ratio.

You can save money by making your deductibles higher. But you will need to be able to get your hands on that money if needed.

Insurance companies will lower your rates if you give them all of your business because they want to insure you for more than just your vehicle. This could include insuring multiple vehicles, buying your home owners or renters insurance and taking advantage of the multi policy discount that most car insurance companies do offer.

Your car insurance premiums will always be cheaper the higher that your credit score is. Always make sure that you are abreast of your credit score to ensure it is error free so that you can get the best prices in car insurance.

The less that you drive the cheaper your rates will be but this can only happen if you let your agent know.

You can realize savings of hundreds of dollars on your auto insurance policy by obtaining insurance quotes from insurance quotes sites. The best way is to visit a minimum of five quotes sites and ensuring that you input the same (correct) details.

I advise that you visit at least five quotes sites because it will ensure you do not miss out offers not presented by the other sites. This offers you a broader basis for doing more thorough comparisons thereby increasing your chances of getting more for less.

Why use a motorcycle frame jig?

A motorcycle frame jig is the best way to keep components in place when fabricating a bike frame. Typically mounted on wheels it lets the fabricator turn the frame while working. This is advantageous when you are pulling a long hose connected to a welding tank. Although it will not keep the frame straight and true, it will keep the various tubes in place for welding. The welding process itself can distort the tubes as they are heated. The use of this device will allow the custom designer to work alone. This apparatus also lets you put the frame off to a corner when you are not actively working on it.

Almost all commercial motorcycle frame jigs have solid steel bases, making them extremely sturdy. While each one has a pinion to hold the frame neck, some will also incorporate devices to support the swing arm. Typically, depending on the manufacturer, holes exist in the holding device that will align to holes in the tubes for other mounting purposes. Some of these supportive structures are homemade, and can vary greatly. The basic rule is to make the base very sturdy and to have plenty of mechanisms for holding the framing tubes upright while you work. Using actual frame components as part of the jig fixtures can be extremely useful.

Whether you purchase a ready-made apparatus from a dealer or you decide to build your own, it is much easier to fabricate using a motorcycle frame jig. Another great plus is that some of these devices have built-in engine stands. Almost all of the commercial models will hold the completed frame for inserting the engine with a hoist. This can also be convenient when debating how to clean fuel injectors without bending over backward. There are multitudes of jig designs in use in homes, garages and custom workshops. Find one or make one that will work well for the frame you are fabricating.

Sturat enjoys writing articles on topics like motorcycle frame jig and how to clean fuel injectors. For more information you can visit us. Visit Why use a motorcycle frame jig?.
